Mandala is a Sanskrit word meaning “circle”. The mandala is ancient and universal and is interwoven throughout history and across cultural and religious lines. The day will be a time of input, drawing our own mandala, ritual, and prayer. You don’t have to be an artist to engage in creating your own mandala!

In her book Patricia writes: \'No matter how busy our lives, we often experience pivotal moments that cause us to pause and contemplate the mystery of daily living.\'
In this workshop, Patricia will share how she came to write her award-winning manuscript which weaves together reflections on nature, te reo Māori, faith, and global challenges. She will encourage participants to pause and notice the ‘magical moments’ that shape our lives, and provide guidelines to ‘explore a more thoughtful, contemplative way of living.’
Patricia Williams was born in Aotearoa New Zealand and grew up in colonial Fiji. Her background was teaching in both primary, secondary, and adult education. Patricia now lives in a small community of vowed women in Auckland.
Participants are welcome to bring their lunch and enjoy the grounds until 3pm.
