Christian Meditation
The teachings of John Main, a Benedictine monk, on the use of the mantra in the Christian tradition are widely disseminated through the World Community for Christian Meditation (WCCM). He wrote:
“Although meditation is a solitary practice, it reveals solitude as the recognition and acceptance of each person’s eternal uniqueness and
the eternal and unique value we share with every creature in the cosmos.”
